Preparations at Plett’s all new The Junction Boutique Hotel, are in full swing, with staff and management getting ready for its grand opening early 2019! Plett’s tourism industry is booming as of late, and local business man Cameron Attwood has been in the hospitality and entertainment game for 21 years – having owned and operated several restaurant and nightlife venues as well as formerly having partnerships in the Plett Rage Student Festival and the Coco Valley Concert Series. Of this latest venture, he says, “I purchased the property a few years ago, and felt that the central area of Plett lends itself to a creative space for retail, entertainment and accommodation. The upgrade of Plett’s Main Street was a catalyst for the development and I hope that other property owners will follow to help make the area a hub of all that Plett embraces.”
With his vast experience in the entertainment and hospitality industry, in particular three years at a
Relais & Châteaux aue property in Connecticut in the United States, he is ready to tackle this new venture and has surrounded himself with a team of hand-picked professionals who have been in the hotel and tourism industry collectively for more than 30 years.
When preparing to stay at The Junction, it is important to understand its personality and location in the centre of Main Street.
